Job DescriptionOur client in North Atlanta area is currently seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to join their dynamic team. This position involves coordinating and managing purchasing activities to ensure timely delivery and efficient inventory management. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with various departments to streamline purchasing processes and maintain supplier relationships.ResponsibilitiesSchedule raw material deliveries to meet production needs.Conduct monthly inventory audits to ensure accuracy and accountability.Create purchase orders and manage purchase order processes efficiently.Work closely with accounting and production departments to align purchasing activities with organizational goals.Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate and manage pricing agreements.Review and approve invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement role.Deadline driven and highly motivated.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Sage/Peachtree software.Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
