We are recruiting for a Head of People and Culture to join an industry leading professional services organization in Roseville. Our client offers a remote work schedule, competitive pay, generous benefits, and a collaborative team! The Head of People and Culture will have two direct reports and support up to 300 employees. This position plays a crucial role in aligning the people strategy with the business and overseeing and directing core functions of the HR department to include: employee development, onboarding, benefits administration, managing leaves of absence (LOAs), and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Salary Range: $130,000-$165,000 DOE + bonus.The qualified candidate will have a minimum of five years' HR management experience, exceptional leadership skills, strong employee engagement experience, and thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead day to day operations relating to the human resources function.Review policies and practices to maintain compliance, including ensuring a current employee handbook.Design, communicate, and educate on changes in organization's policy and procedures.Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition teams to design and deliver a meaningful onboarding experience.Lead engagement initiatives to foster connectedness and engagement to build the company culture.Provide oversight of performance management programs.Oversee Benefits Administration including review and selection of plans, workers' compensation, leaves, workplace accommodations under ADA, and ergonomic considerations.Gather market compensation and benefits data for use in determining annual salary increases and benefit package currency.Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.Maintain human resources information systems that meet the organizational needs for data.Ensure investigation and resolution of employee relations disputes and internal/external complaints are addressed effectively, following due process, and efficiently.Develop and implement strategies to foster an inclusive and engaging workplace culture.Function as initial point of contact for managers regarding employee relations issues such as LOA administration, performance management support, and policy interpretation.SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.10+ years of experience in HR management, including recruitment and talent acquisitionStrong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and talent management systems.Experience with full cycle recruiting and HR operations, including benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate when appropriate.Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
