When you wear one of these pieces, you are announcing to yourself and to the world that everything you want and everything you want to be is already inside you - all you have to do is claim it.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Director, Learning and Development - RetailPOSITION SCOPE: The Director, Learning and Development - Retail will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering training initiatives that will enhance the client experience, deepen product knowledge, drive sales performance, leadership development and systems excellence across our retail network. This role will report to the Senior Director, Retail and will be responsible for evaluating existing training programs and developing new and innovative content in alignment with business strategies, brand tenets, and design ethos. This role will collaborate with the leadership team including the Creative Director, Design, Brand Content and Merchandising teams as well as store management to create and deliver impactful, engaging in-store training sessions and facilitate leadership meetings in an entrepreneurial fast paced environment.RESPONSIBILITIES:Work with the Senior Director, Retail to curate, develop and deliver training content across areas encompassing client experience, product knowledge, sales performance, leadership development and systems proficiency. Create Retail Training calendar; build-out core training initiatives and competencies as well as the ongoing cadence for continual learning and development initiatives.Work with Senior Director and store leadership teams to assess and identify specific training opportunities. Develop targeted content and lead and deliver these programs onsite. Update and innovate on content as needed.Work onsite with retail teams to observe client interaction and engagement; provide in the moment coaching feedback.Create, develop and deliver any specific individual training needs or skills gap training opportunities as requested.Provide written feedback including observations and evaluations after each store visit including feedback and adaptation of training module rollout and share with the Senior Director, Retail. Partner with cross functional teams to introduce and align on any new training initiatives.Create a Learning and Development content management system; monitor and ensure employee participation.Lead and develop any special projects or new initiatives across the business.REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree requiredMinimum of 7 years in previous experience and at least 3 years within the luxury marketplace; fine jewelry experience a plusStrong communication skills; written and verbalAble to work a flexible schedule that includes required travel of 50%Highly organized with focus on program development and delivery, strong presentation and collaboration skillsMust be able execute strategic initiatives to drive business growth and operational excellence. Must be an independent self-starter with a proactive and entrepreneurial spirit, able to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment while achieving goals.
