Vice President, Investor RelationsLocation: New York, NYThe Vice President of Investor Relations will play a critical role in MSCI's execution of proactive Investor Relations programs, helping to communicate the firm's financial performance and strategy to shareholders, prospective investors, and sell-side research analysts. The individual will work closely with senior management and collaborate with various internal teams to enhance MSCI's investor communications, ensuring a robust and effective feedback loop.This role provides exposure to the breadth and complexity of MSCI's activities and will require sustained interaction with senior business leaders and firm leadership. Successful candidates will also have the opportunity to expand their work into other aspects of the Investor Relations team as workload and broader team resourcing permits.While the primary focus will be on Investor Relations, there will be some support for the company's broader capital management initiatives, such as share repurchases and dividends.What We Offer YouSalary range: $174,750 - $227,250/year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.At MSCI, we are passionate about empowering better investment decisions. Our flexible working arrangements, comprehensive health, and financial security benefits, and purposeful approach to wellbeing are designed to support your best performance at work and in your personal life.Key Responsibilities: Investor RelationsCollaborate with the Head of Investor Relations, CFO, and other internal partners on the development of earnings releases, corporate presentations, and other corporate informationProactively respond to investor and analyst inquiries, and gather feedback to share with senior management.Build and maintain a comprehensive fact book that includes MSCI's corporate history, industry background, and competitive landscape.Track sell-side analyst estimates, ratings, and price targets to keep management apprised of Wall Street expectationsConduct research on existing and prospective shareholders, preparing investor profiles, briefing materials, and collaborating with external market intelligence vendors.Track and log shareholder interactions in the company's CRM system.Design, maintain, and enhance Investor Relations collateral and presentations for investor events, such as roadshows, conferences, 1:1 meetings, Board of Directors, and Annual General Meetings.Develop and manage timelines for earnings calls and other investor-related events like non-deal roadshows, conferences, and Investor Days.Actively monitor and maintain analyst consensus models, identifying variances against company guidance and long-term targets.Maintain internal financial dashboards and KPIs related to quarterly investor activities.Partner with FP&A and Controllership to gather and analyze financial data to assist with investor communications.Assist with ad-hoc strategic finance projects as neededCapital Management Support (Limited Focus)Support long-term value creation by assisting with the optimization of share repurchases, dividends, and capital allocation strategies.Assist with planning and executing financing transactions as needed.Support global cash management and maintain relationships with lending banks and rating agencies.Skills and Experience Required5+ years of sell-side, buy-side, or investing experience, or strategy roles; other highly analytical backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Prior Wall Street/equity investing experience is highly valuable.Strong financial modeling skills and extensive experience conducting both quantitative and qualitative analysis, with a solid understanding of public company financial filings and disclosures.Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills with a proven ability to present complex analyses to executives and senior management in a clear and concise manner.Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with financial tools such as Power BI, Qlik, and Salesforce is a plus.Experience working within international, multicultural teams across multiple time zones.Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build credibility with senior internal and external stakeholders.How We'll Support YouMSCI's culture of collaboration and high performance encourages knowledge sharing and mutual support.
