Be at the forefront of a revolution in the music industry as we empower artists with data driven insights to their fanbase. You will be working with literal rock stars to develop novel mobile applications that challenge the intersection of creativity and usability. Along with access to pre-seed equity, this is a limited opportunity to lead exciting green-field projects while building out our technical foundations.We're seeking an experienced and creative Senior iOS Engineer to develop a cutting-edge mobile application templating framework. You will use this framework as a foundation for building engaging app communities and experiences that connect artists directly with their fans.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop a flexible, scalable iOS application templating frameworkCreate reusable components and modules for media-rich, interactive experiencesImplement robust architecture patterns to ensure maintainability and performanceCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new featuresMentor junior developers and contribute to code reviewsStay updated with the latest iOS technologies and best practicesRequired Qualifications:4+ years of professional iOS development experienceStrong portfolio of published apps on the Apple App Store, showcasing creative and artistic experiencesExpert knowledge of Swift and Objective-CProficiency in iOS frameworks such as SwiftUI, UIKit, Core Animation, and AVFoundationExperience with reactive programming (e.g., Combine, RxSwift)Solid understanding of iOS performance optimization techniquesFamiliarity with Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and App Store submission processChorus is redefining the artist-fan connection. Launched in 2022, Chorus is an artist founded and led music technology platform that directly connects artists with their superfans while creating a new sustainable creative economy built on deepening the relationship between artists and their fans. Artist ownership is core to Chorus' mission, giving artists control of their financial destinies and fan data while maintaining their own unique artistic vision. Our prototype has achieved product-market fit, and we're now scaling rapidly to build the foundation for the future of artist-fan interactions. We are based in Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area. This is a mostly remote position requiring occasional onsite meetings and reports directly to the Head of Engineering.
