Clinical Laboratory Technologist

Pride Health is hiring a CLINICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGISTto support our client's medical facility based in BRONX, NYThisopportunity is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!Responsibilities:Sample AnalysisPerform complex laboratory tests on blood, urine, and other body fluids to detect diseases or abnormalities.Specialize in hematology tests, including CBC, coagulation, and blood morphology.Quality ControlConduct routine and specialized quality control checks on laboratory equipment and testing procedures.Ensure accuracy and reliability of results by troubleshooting and recalibrating equipment as needed.Documentation and ReportingAccurately document test results in the laboratory information system (LIS).Communicate findings promptly to healthcare providers and assist in interpreting results.Specimen HandlingCollect, label, and process patient specimens following strict safety and procedural protocols.Ensure proper storage and transport of samples to maintain integrity.PhlebotomyPerform venipunctures and capillary punctures to collect blood samples.Collect samples following physician orders and laboratory requirementsRequirements: 1 year of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.Expertise in Hematology and Clinical Laboratory procedures.Phlebotomy experience preferred.English language proficiency (Speak, Read, Write).License and Certifications:Valid license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist issued by NYSED.Additional Information: Location: BRONX, NY 10451Job Type: ContractDuration: 14 weeksSpecialty: labSchedule: Evening 5x8-Hour shifts (4PM - 12AM)Pay Range: $50 - $55 Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
