Professional Support Specialist

The Professional Support Specialist is responsible for assisting with education initiatives, events, and in-field support for multiple global brand objectives in the US market. This role includes both independent and collaborative work. The ideal candidate has an extensive understanding of beauty and passion for the hair industry, a positive, solution-oriented attitude, prefers detailed-oriented work and thrives on the Pro environment. Facilitation experience in classroom and virtual environments, self-motivation and engaging public speaking abilities are critical. This role will support our Pro portfolio which includes Bio-Ionic, Ouidad, and Wet Brush.Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:Assist in development and planning of field-facing educational and training materials, including videos, content, and presentations that define the brands core foundation and outline product details for multiple brandsPlan, coordinate and help execute seasonal training seminarsPro Administrative SupportParticipate in the creation and implementation of educational programs, including launch strategies, pillar support, and field implementation, to build and enforce Pro support initiativesEvaluate and modify training content to meet business needs and manage material inventorySupport creation of education materials on product knowledge, display concepts, sales techniques, and system/procedural requirementsHelp to conceptualize, create, and launch elevated event experiencesForecast, allocate, and distribute products and educational materials to Artistic Educators for new product launchesIn collaboration with street & store - Identify programs, content, artist/brand ambassadors, secure new Artists, provide tile images, artist bio/headshot for websitesCreate promotional assets (flyers + Social Assets) to promote virtual and in-person classesSupport team during In-Store Trainings, in-person and virtual classes Deploy education calendar to all channels every quarterCollaborate with Pro customers on FB Lives and virtual classes. Pro Support Specialist helps develop content, confirms, and books Artists, and acts as POC for Artists/AmbassadorsEducation Websiteensure Ouidad Education site is updated with latest education content, class tilesMonitor competitive education offerings to ensure we are offering best-in-class EducationEssential Cross-Functional Responsibilities:Help with the evolution of the Pro Community ExpansionAssist with Tradeshows and events logistics and planningRequired Skills/Qualifications:Strong understanding of the Beauty IndustryPassion for all things digitalProactive and results oriented thinker who would flourish in an entrepreneurial environment Proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint programs. Communicates clearly and succinctly in both oral and written formsAbility to translate product initiatives into relevant, Pro-facing brand educational and social momentsAbility to collaboratively work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentMust demonstrate strong critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsMust be skilled at executing within tight timeframes with attention to detail and accuracyHighly organized with proven multi-tasking and project management skillsEducation/Experience Requirements:1-2 years related experienceLicensed Cosmetologist a plus
