VP Product Marketing$200k base + Variable + EquitySeries C RegTechYou will lead the development of a differentiated go-to-market strategy as a foundation for growth and continue to establish our position as a leader in the GRC software space. This role will report to the Chief Product Officer. You will be responsible for driving our product messaging, assisting with articulating our positioning in the market, analyzing our product against competitors, and identifying key themes and stories from our customers that showcase the value. You will work closely with the Marketing and Product teams to develop and drive key initiatives and cross-functional programs to increase revenue and improve customer adoption. You will partner closely with our Sales and Customer Success teams to develop the plays and supporting materials so they can best guide our customers through a consistent customer journey that leads them to lasting value. Your ProfileYou are an experienced product marketer who has successfully driven new product positioning, differentiation, pricing, and packaging. You have launched products successfully for maximum impact in the market. You have deep experience in analyzing markets from the macro-level down to engaging user groups, focus groups and other constituents to drive product strategy and roadmaps. You understand how to segment the market, identify how a product adds value for consumers, and prioritize and target different segments leveraging your peer teams within the company. You are excited to dive deep and create materials that our Sales team can leverage to showcase the uniqueness and value. ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you'll collaborate closely with GTM, Customer Success, and Leadership to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new and existing features. You will grow a team of product marketers over time but start as an individual contributor working cross functionally to position and launch product, drive market adoption and create content to enable the sales team to drive revenue growth. Continuously analyze the market to identify opportunities for growth through both new strategies and existing value propositions. Accurately size segments, align the organization to market opportunity, and build playbooks and specific content to effectively engage prospects and partners Become the foremost expert on our industry trends and competitors to determine proper investment strategies for our suite of products and proper messaging for our marketing team Develop a standard model to compare and prioritize potential investments based on data such as total addressable market and strategy Build competitive intelligence that improves the GTM teams win rate in competitive sales cycles and retention rate in existing customers Lead the ongoing improvement of audience and personal frameworks, including users, economic and technical buyers and beneficiaries to inform content strategy, demand and conversion programs Build and continuously improve the buyer's journey and customer journey framework and content map Design and execute strategic messaging, driven by competitive analysis, data, and research that articulates value and resonates with our target prospects Collaborate with internal stakeholders to execute product launches with defined accountability and outcomes Work in strategic partnership across the business to enable the go-to-market team on market, product, plays, offers and other topics as needed Continuously improve customer post-sale programs and campaigns that enable adoption, facilitate renewal, encourage cross-sell/ up-sell and create advocacy for the productSuccess criteriaBuild and maintain a comprehensive buyer persona deliverable by defining market and buying process, researching and analyzing market and buyer behavior data, and providing stakeholders with useful insights. Align messaging and content with the foundational product positioning architecture to provide timely release within an agile schedule of enablement content to ensure sales is aligned and consistent with messaging and content. Launch all new products and strategic features according to the product roadmap and NPI process, ensuring we meet the "ready to market/sell" stage gates. Collaborate with the content marketing team to support product launches, like blog posts, one-pagers, and help articles Provide monthly narratives/context to drive program and content strategies, by collaborating with marketing/selling teams to support PR, thought leadership, and growth enablement plans. Develop and align on a set of KPIs and measurable performance targets within your first quarter, in collaboration with GTM and product leadership, to measure the impact of product marketing efforts and drive data-driven decisions. Critical KPIs that this role is expected to materially impact include lead conversion rate, sales win rate, average revenue per customer (ARPC), and net revenue retention (NRR). Requirements12+ years of software product marketing and customer marketing experience 7+ years of leading teams (remote leadership ideal) Deep B2B SaaS experience is crucial Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field Master's degree in business administration or related field preferred Proven track record of successfully executing product launches that grow pipeline Proven track record of positively impacting and scaling Series B organizations Analytical, data driven orientation with deep business acumen and the ability to communicate data effectively Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with an ability to handle both executive-level discussions and tactical executionStrong ability to synthesize large amounts of information and present to different audiences in clear and effective ways Demonstrated publics peaking and training experience If you are interested please apply above!
