Our client, a substantial beauty manufacturer working with the leading off-price retailers, is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Executive with Beauty experience to join their team. Must be knowledgeable in working with buyers to determine the right products to offer to maximize revenue and margins and to support their in-house brands. The range of product is flexible as they produce color palettes, mists, bath and body products, as well as well-known licensed brands. This role is in NYC and is a 3-day a week hybrid work in-office schedule (not flexible on the work cadence). The salary range for this role is 125k-140k based on experience.Salary: $125-$140kResponsibilities: Contribute to the cultivation of new accounts and opportunities in the off-price channel to expand business with existing accounts; identify and strategize means to penetrate new markets.Research and perform competitive analysis; monitor relevant trends and communicate with internal partners where appropriate.Collaboratively develop line plan for each brand, in context of larger assortment and cost structure, and customize to each customer; create and execute seasonal business proposals with suggested assortments based on marketplace and customer base.Partner with customers to communicate and execute brand positioning and key strategic initiatives for brand where appropriate; propose and negotiate for optimal placement in store including, where applicable, in-store shops.Perform daily review of shipments, orders, and changes in distribution and deliveries for each account with sales team and customer service; secure and ensure timely fulfillment of all orders.Monitor, assemble, and analyze weekly sales and stock levels; devise strategies and make recommendations to customers and internal partners regarding merchandising, markdowns, and orders/reorders; partner with finance and operations to ensure proper credit, shipping, and bookings for each customer.Regularly travel to customer locations to meet with regional leadership and ensure proper in-store execution.Cultivate, develop, and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.Manage communications and feedback between customers and internal partners in Sales, Design, and Production; partner with customers to manage co-op, allowances, and givebacks.Contribute positively to team dynamic and manage up where necessary.Train and coach junior team members in selling, negotiating, and presentation skills.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree preferred.5+ years of experience in off price/discount sales channels.Previous experience selling to Retail channels and working for a Beauty or CPG company.Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills; team oriented and outgoing.Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented and meticulous.Strong analytical skills and fluent in retail math.Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with SAP a plusKnowledge of product development, trends, supply chain, packaging, advertising, and salesIf you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.The Solomon Page DistinctionOur teams, comprised of subject matter experts, develop an interest in your preferences and goals and we act as an advisor for your career advancement.
