Sr. Software Engineer, Full Stack

As a Sr. Software Engineer, Full Stack, you will have considerable autonomy and influence on Apropos's strategy and execution. You will develop a web application for customers to interface with Apropos's services. You will work on data pipelines, ML models, and custom statistical models to compose a holistic solution to the persistent challenges facing B2B software companies. You will research effective heuristics. You will design visualizations that make it simple for customers to decide how to spend their time and money. You will collaborate with Apropos's team of experienced operators, engineers, product designers, and consultants. Apropos is early in its trajectory. This role offers a significant equity stake in the Company and the opportunity to take a leading role in Apropos's product development. Strong candidates will be hard-working, conscientious, and eager to take on this challenge.Qualifications3+ years of full-stack software engineering experienceWeb programming, including reactive front-end frameworksDatabase design and operationsDeployment and operation of cloud servicesSome experience in ML, statistics, applied math, or data visualization is a plusConfidence with Python, JavaScript, Go, and deployment/ops of cloud servicesApropos aims to build a fun, scrappy, high-performing team who enjoy working together and treat each other with respectJob DetailsLocation: as an early stage company, we prefer working in-person, but Remote is okay if the fit is good. Our office is located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, convenient to the G Subway line.Cash Compensation: $180k. As Apropos grows and raises additional funding, cash compensation will rise accordingly.Equity Compensation: 1-1.5%, depending on experience and subject to negotiation.Benefits: Apropos offers standard health / dental insurance benefits.
