Akkodis is seeking a Technical Product Manager - Data for a contract position with our Fortune 500 banking client.Rate: $60-67.64/hr W2. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Hybrid in one of the following locations: Charlotte, Chicago, DallasResponsibilities include:• Partner closely with customers (internal), business line(s) and cross functional teams to drive the evolution of the assigned product(s).• Maintain and refine product backlog; creates user stories, acceptance criteria and prioritize user stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum business value that align with product strategy.• Partner with business and use case owners as a Technology consultant to devise/design solutions to satisfy the use case needs.• Works closely with Enterprise Architecture team, Data architecture and platform product management teams to identify and prioritize the capabilities and functionality needed by the product to meet current and future needs• May need to participate and perform POC's with Cloud technologies• Work closely in a hands-on style with engineering team including addressing daily prioritization needs, providing real-time feedback, and answering questions on an ongoing basis.• Creates Product Requirement Documentation (PRD's), Source to Target (S2T) mapping documentation, proficient with Spark SQL and be able to roll up your sleeve and perform dig into code and perform user acceptance testing.• Responsible for Data quality of the Product and is proactive in implementing Data Quality rules, and accountable for governance of the product.• Facilitate cross-functional workshops.• Fosters an environment for a high-performing team.• Navigate the organization through partnerships and collaboration• Employ product management practices and tactics including customer research, data and analytics, and market research.• Ability to estimate effort based on the analysis and complexity involved• Document and prepare CapEx funding requests to take it to senior leadership• Ability to create a roadmap by dissecting work into Epics, Features and User storiesBasic qualifications• Bachelor's degree in computer science (related field)• 5+ years of experience, with at least 3 in product management• Strong technical acumen. Can dissect complicated technical problems, simplify experiences, and innovate on behalf of our customers• Both technically deep and business savvy to interface with and lead teams of all levels and disciplines within an organization, from engineers to senior leadership• Experience collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data from disparate sources to drive conclusions and recommendations• Strong track record of delivering products and ensuring customer success.Preferred qualifications:• Minimum 3 years of Product Management experience• 2+ years of Project Management experience• 5 + years of Data analysis experience• 3+ years of working experience with Agile frameworks such as Kanban and Scrum• Financial services industry experience preferrable• Proficient in SQL, Python languages• Minimum 5 years of experience working with ETL (Extract Transform Load) technologies.• Experience with standard relational databases (Teradata, DB2, Postgres)• 2 + years of experience with managing Project financials and reporting• Experience working with Jira and ConfluenceEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, an EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
