Korn Ferry has partnered with our client on their search for Finance Director.Job SummaryReporting directly to the CFO, the Finance Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and supporting executive decision-making with our client. This role will be primarily focused on financial analysis, budgeting, operational KPI analysis and long-range planning. The director will partner with the CFO to build scalable and efficient processes as our client continues to grow, and ensuring the business has timely and accurate information to meet its strategic business goals. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with experience in a very fast-paced and dynamic environment, and a passion for finding and owning opportunities.Essential Functions1.Financial Reporting and Analysis:Generate financial reports and interpret financial information while recommending potential actions to improve financial resultsMaintain and improve the company's consolidated reporting package, used for monthly board of directors meetings and other strategic reportingBecome an expert in the company's operational KPIs, highlight areas of strength and weakness in the business, and communicate opportunities to sales and operational leaders across the companyPartner with the Data Analytics team to develop detailed financial reporting and analytical capabilities in Looker, the company's BI toolOwn the process for ensuring forecasts and goals are approved and loaded into all systemsCreate ad-hoc analysis as needed based on requests from executive leadershipPartner with the CFO and Data Analytics team to ensure strong data governance2.Financial Modeling:Build and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives and scenario planning3.Budgeting and Forecasting:Develop, manage, and analyze annual budgets and quarterly forecasts in collaboration with department heads and the executive teamObtain buy in from functional leaders to ensure forecasted results are achievable; stress-test assumptions and make the executive team aware of risks and opportunities to the forecasted resultsContribute to the creation of a streamlined budgeting model which factors in all relevant business drivers and enables scenario analysisMonitor budget performance and provide variance analysis to identify areas of improvement.4.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, understand business processes, and provide financial insights.5.Continuous Improvement:Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to the enhancement of financial reporting and analysis processes.Knowledge and SkillsAdvanced Excel skills and experience with complex financial modelingExperience with SQL and Python highly desirableStrong knowledge of US GAAP and ability to partner with the Accounting team to ensure financial results are reported in accordance with GAAPStrong proficiency with Looker or similar business intelligence tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, etcExperience with Salesforce, Quickbooks online, LoneWolf (real estate accounting) software desirableExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilitiesStrong communication and presentation skillsAbility to analyze complex data sets and identify key takeaways, in some cases with limited directionAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail and a commitment to accuracyRange of Experience7+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Finance Manager or similar role is requiredExperience in professional services businesses and/or industries with heavy B2C advertising is preferableEducationBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related fieldCompensation: $140,000 - $160,000 salary plus bonusSE# 510706737
