Goetz Platzer LLP, a dynamic, mid-sized full-service law firm with an impeccable reputation, seeks an experienced commercial litigator with a minimum of 4 years of experience in New York practice.The ideal candidate will have commercial litigation experience, and be able to manage their own case load. Detailed knowledge of CPLR is a must. Responsibilities will include preparing pleadings, discovery, and motion practice, conducting depositions, court appearances and trials.The ideal candidate will manage litigation cases, resolve and settle legal disputes on behalf of clients, and advocate for clients in court. This individual will build client relationships and provide an excellent customer experience for clients.Salary range is between $140,0000 and $160,000 per year depending on experience and other factors, plus an achievement bonus for exceeding billing requirements. Goetz Platzer offers a competitive benefits package and 4 weeks of paid time off.
