Drone Technician

Apex Systems is seeking a Drone Technician for one of our large Tech clients. This role will be a long-term contract and sit onsite in Seattle, WA. The qualified candidate will act as an operations specialist assisting in the development and test of cutting-edge safety-related technologies. The role includes mission planning and lightweight maintenance duties. The candidate should demonstrate attention to detail, a safety-oriented attitude, flexibility, and enthusiasm for cutting-edge technology. This individual will also conduct limited operation readiness activities and logistics planning as needed.IDEAL CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE:Technical SkillsProficient in Linux commands and complex software.Aviation maintenance background is highly desirable.Experience in robotics or as a fully electrical engineer.Mechanically inclined.Familiar with technical manuals and QA processes.Experience with Dhawk and Jira for work input.Knowledge of Linux, Python, and Excel.Behavioral SkillsAdaptable and able to handle various tasks.Strong project management skills.Good communication skills for interacting with different stakeholders.ExperienceSr. AMP licensed mechanic with some software/Linux background.Experience running projects independently.EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal-opportunity employer.
