Title: Credit AnalystSummaryThe Credit Collections Analyst will handle day to day collection activities, will handle credit holds, trade references, and credit reports. Will make recommendations on strategies to minimize credit risk to the company and support as back up to Credit Manager.Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day credit activities and will serve as back up to the manager for collectionsCustomer calls and emails, payment dispute resolution, with goal of reduction in A/R past dues and improving cash flowMaintain detailed and organized Customer Credit files and collection call notesProcess new Credit requests and monitor existing customers for creditworthiness- Including review of credit reports, Trade References, Financials, and other research as needed. Make Credit recommendations based on Credit Data collectedProvide recommended action to Credit Manager on delinquent accountsProvide Credit Manager information pertinent to timely placement of CollectionsResearch short payments and follow through with resolution in a timely mannerBackup to Credit Manager, including Credit Holds and Release of orders as neededMonitoring and keeping up to date with A/R email requests including providing invoice copies, credit card receipts, remittances, etc.Qualifications:Excellent oral and written, communication and organization skillsMinimally 3+ years experience as a Credit AnalystExperience working within an Accounts Receivable department as well as credit analysis experienceExcellent analytical skills and ability to work independently as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentAbility to effectively handle all personality types when dealing with external and internal customersQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
