Title:Architect - LEED ExperienceClientSpecializing in Architecture, Engineering and Interior Design, our client offers a full range of services involved in the design and engineering of facilities. We are experienced with many project delivery formats such as Design Bid, Design Build, Fast Track and Construction Management.Description:Manage/coordinate sustainable design strategies for multiple institutional and commercial building design and construction projects.Work with clients and design teams to establish sustainable design and project certification goals; analyzing project scope to identify opportunities and ascertain the feasibility of various options.Act as LEED Administrator for LEED registered projects. Manage the documentation process and complete credit calculations. Coordinate consultant documentation and oversee, track and report certification status. Manage and facilitate the production of clear, comprehensive, and detailed deliverables.Participate in design team and client meetings. Facilitate work sessions with clients and design teams to build consensus on sustainable design solutions. Coordinate the work of multiple consultants and project team members and assist with cross discipline collaboration.Provide sustainable design guidance and technical support to all team members to effectively manage the certification process through all phases of design and construction.Independently undertake project-related research for materials, systems, and approaches to improve project outcomes.Develop specifications for bidding documents and review project submittals to assure compliance with sustainable strategies for certification projects.Required:A background in the design and construction industry with 3-5+ years of experience in sustainability consulting/ green building certifications and a knowledge of sustainable products and services.Experience with the building design and construction process and the ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings as well as knowledge of construction specifications and commercial construction practices.Attention to detail, and be highly organized with strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills for clear and concise presentation of complex information.Self-starter qualities, able to work independently and multi-task to meet project schedules.Eagerness to collaborate and communicate effectively in a timely manner.Demonstrated experience leading successful green building certifications and LEED Accreditation with specialty are preferred.Ability to coordinate integration of Revit, IES, energy modeling, daylighting, WBLCA or other technical analysis tools is desirable.Education:Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, building science, built environment, and/or sustainabilitySalary / Hourly:$70,000 - $100,000Benefits:Health and 401K packages
