Investor Relations Associate

Hiring firm is an investment manager with families of funds focused on primarily in venture capital investments, secondaries, and direct investments.Position Overview:The Investor Relations Team ("IR") is seeking an Associate to join their team in San Francisco. The IR team is responsible for asset gathering and strategy, investor services and marketing.As a member of the IR team, the Analyst will be responsible for all investor reporting and requests and will contribute to the production of marketing and investor materials.Primary responsibilities:Responsible for timely responses to RFPs/DDQs and existing investor communicationCoordinate with other internal departments including Finance, Legal and Investments, and external service providers such as fund administrators and compliance, to produce accurate reporting and timely service to investors and prospective investorsField and fulfill various investor requests, reports and queriesContribute to the production of marketing and investor collateral including:Presentation pitch decks for all funds for both existing and prospective investorsAd hoc update materials for existing investorsOther duties as assignedPreferred Qualifications:2-4 Years of institutional asset management experience and applicable undergraduate college degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.An understanding of venture capital and/or private equity investments, funds mechanics and performance metricsEffective communicator and ability to write clearly and concisely, particularly by telling a story through presentation materialsStrong analytical skills, with an ability to present data effectively through written materialMastery of Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint and WordExceptionally detail-oriented and ability to multi-taskA strong work ethic and client-focused mindsetDemonstrated organizational skillsStrong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated commitment to teamworkFamiliarity with pooled vehicle reporting materials such as Capital Account Statements and Audited Financial Statements
