We have toughness, determination, and passionate belief!Full Job Description:EmployInsure LLC seeks to hire an experienced attorney for a new Senior Associate General Counsel position, which will focus on litigation and employment matters. This is an in-house role in which you will work collaboratively with organizational leaders, human resources professionals, various business partners, and outside counsel.You will enjoy a dynamic job description with an array of responsibilities, including:Contract drafting and review: Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts with vendors, clients, and other parties, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.Legal advice: Acting as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, providing legal guidance to different departments within the company on a range of issues, including employment law, intellectual property, compliance, and corporate governance.Compliance management: Monitoring and advising on compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including developing and implementing compliance policies.Risk assessment: Identifying potential legal risks within business operations and recommending mitigation strategies.Litigation management: Overseeing legal disputes, coordinating with external counsel when necessary, and managing litigation strategyCorporate transactions: Providing legal support during mergers, acquisitions, and other significant corporate transactions.Employee relations: Advising on employment law matters, including hiring, termination, and discrimination issues.Legal research: Conducting legal research on complex issues and staying updated on relevant legal developments.Communication and collaboration: Working closely with various departments within the company, including senior management, to ensure alignment on legal mattersBasic Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolLicensed to practice law in CaliforniaExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical solutionsExperience in a law firm or corporate legal departmentPreferred Qualifications:Strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, employment/labor law, and workers compensation lawExperience with Labor Relations and/or collective bargaining agreementsAs a salaried employee of EmployInsure in this role, you can expect the following benefits:Salary range starting at $218,800 (dependent on experience)Premium Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, 100% covered by the company for employees with low deductibles.Best-in-class dependent premiums for Medical, Dental, and Vision.401K with a 5% company matchAn employer-funded Health Reimbursement Account to assist with deductibles, etc.Death and Dismemberment policyUnlimited Paid Time Off policy & Paid HolidaysPension planSamuel Hale is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, creed, religion, ancestry, national origin, age, gender identity, gender expression, sex/gender, marital status, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, medical condition, use of a guide dog or service animal, military/veteran status, citizenship status, basis of genetic information, or any other group protected by law.Samuel Hale is an E-Verify company.
