Corporate Paralegal - High Net Worth Family OfficeResponsibilities:Design and manage an effective contract database and recordkeeping system.Develop and maintain current contract and document libraries including Master Service Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Subcontractor Agreements, Statements of Work, Change Orders, and more based on the needs of our offerings.Work with area leaders to prepare initial drafts of contracts and white glove final drafts for presentation.Support corporate legal initiatives which may include real estate, opening new business locations, mergers & acquisitions, and research projects as assigned.Assist internal and external counsel with responses to subpoenas, complaints, or any other legal action.Work within a team to build out new offerings, including a Trust and Estate offering to external clients and a Corporate Secretarial function for internal and external clients.Support compliance efforts with the operations teams as assigned.Undertake special projects to create efficiencies within the legal team.Stay informed and up to date on all legal and regulatory requirements relevant to the firm.Actively participate in professional development activities.Qualifications:Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in paralegal studies; Bachelor's Degree is preferred3+ years of experience in a paralegal role; in-house paralegal experience is preferredExperience working in a professional or financial services company, especially wealth management, tax services, or financial consultingExperience with Thompson Reuter software a plusStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
