About The Latino Business Action NetworkLBAN is a dynamic Silicon Valley-based nonprofit with a big mission to strengthen the U.S. economy by empowering Latino entrepreneurship across the country. We are a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization with a national reach. In the last 10 years, Latinos created half the new companies in the U.S. LBAN leverages the best of Stanford Graduate School of Business and applies it to this growing Latino entrepreneurship opportunity. We partner with Stanford through the jointly led and supported Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative within the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Latino companies are younger and consequently smaller than the average, but they are growing. When they reach the average size of companies in the U.S., this will add $3 trillion to the American economy. Our goal is to accelerate this process.Three Pillars of LBANResearch: LBAN partners with Stanford to produce foundational research on Latino business owners across the U.S. We lead and co-host, with Stanford, an Annual State of Latino Entrepreneurship Summit at Stanford. We make our research accessible to everyone and facilitate conversations about Latino entrepreneurship with various constituents, including Latino entrepreneurs, Capital Providers, Corporations, and government representatives. We are helping to reframe the incredible opportunity Latinos already represent for the U.S. Education: LBAN's Business Scaling Program at Stanford is a transformative educational program that empowers Latino business owners to catalyze the scaling of their companies. LBAN's Startup Accelerator at Stanford will help startups establish business principles that accelerate growth and traction. These 9-week hybrid LBAN programs at Stanford University are a uniquely transformative experience for business owners. Network: LBAN is building an empowering national ecosystem of Latino entrepreneurship. The foundation of the ecosystem is the thousands of graduates of our Business Scaling Program & Startup Accelerator with a shared mindset for growth and mutual support. Additionally, the ecosystem includes networks of mentors, capital providers, and corporate contacts.Job Description:The Community Relationships & Engagement Manager / Sr. Manager will lead and develop relationships with key organizations to bring ongoing education, resources, and programming to our alumni network. Design and execute strategic webinars relevant to business owners and create a meaningful impact on entrepreneurs as they grow their businesses. Lead and collaborate engaging campaigns to highlight LBAN alumni and spotlight their companies to increase visibility.We are looking for an individual who is passionate about LBAN's mission, is a strong communicator, builds relationships quickly and effortlessly (in-person and virtually via social media outlets and platforms), is detail-oriented, strategic, resourceful, able to deliver a high level of customer service, and operates with utmost professionalism. The individual must be willing to ideate and thrive in an ambiguous environment and execute deliverables at a high level. If this is you, join us, and together, let's improve the economic environment for Latino-owned businesses.Responsibilities:Establish and develop relationships within the LBAN network and in the external marketplace.Lead and facilitate video conferencing webinars - educating business owners and ecosystem partnersLead initiatives, drive LBAN impact, track progress (producing impact reports using data), and measure resultsImplement projects and pursue goals with minimal supervisionServe as a team lead point of contact for LBAN alumni, providing value-add content and further strengthening the alumni network.Lead access to corporate and government contracts initiativeDevelop creative avenues and campaigns for LBAN alumni to add value in highlighting their business ventures, opportunities, challenges, and successes to the LBAN ecosystem. Find opportunities to organically design alumni networking and educational experiencesEngage in public speaking: Facilitate discussions and speak in front of small groupsContributing to LBAN team responsibilities that are aligned with business objectives and project delivery. This includes actively participating in connecting with LBAN alumni for survey responses, preparing for cohort kickoffs and graduation events, fundraising efforts, and ensuring program setup and successPartner closely with the LBAN marketing team to ensure all programming has the highest level reach, leveraging the LBAN brand in the most professional mannerBe a thought leader within the organization and someone who can help advance LBAN into the future Required Qualifications:Proven strategic, creative, and operational excellence and the ability to develop strategic relationshipsStrong verbal and written communication skills (including business writing)Working knowledge of video conferencing platforms such as Zoom and Google Meet and have the ability to lead and facilitate webinars via video conferencing.Ability to prioritize and balance workload to meet fast-paced deadlinesDesired Skills:7+ years experience in a relationship development/relationship building roleExperience and knowledge of Salesforce CRM/CMSProcurement/Supplier Diversity experience.Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experiencePrimary Location: Remote - San Francisco Bay Area. 40 hours per week (Exempt employee)Compensation Range: The US base salary range for this full-time position is $100K - $130K. This role may be eligible for a discretionary bonus and benefits. Pay is based on various factors and may vary depending on work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Some travel is expected:Approximately 10%-20% travel to the LBAN San Jose office, Stanford University campus, off-site locations, and occasional national travel.
