Duration: 3 Months (1 Semester) - potential extensionsAbout the Company A tutoring agency of Insight Global is looking to bring on 6 English/Math tutors to help finish out the remainder of the school year. A successful candidate demonstrates a passion and commitment to the success of students.Responsibilities Building strong relationships with students and serving as a student advocateDesigning and implementing small group instructionMonitoring student progress using provided assessment toolsReviewing student progress notes and prior assessment notes before each tutoring session, then completing progress notes after each tutoring sessionInteracting and collaborating with school staff in a professional mannerAttending synchronous and asynchronous professional development workshops and onboardingImplementing feedback provided by supervisorPossess the ability to take initiative and work independently while also knowing when to request support when necessaryCommitted to being punctual for all company events and regular workdaysMaintaining professionalism inclusive of attire, punctuality, and communicationRequired SkillsA 4 year college degree in any major is requiredPrior tutoring/teaching experience Comfortable teaching High School Math or EnglishBilingual candidates are encouraged to applyMust be able to complete an in person fingerprinting and must pass a background checkAccess to reliable transportation is requiredAbility to work onsite M-F during standard school hours: 8- 3 ESTPreferred SkillsBilingualCompensation:$15/hr. to $20/hr.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
