AMLaw 200 law firm located in the financial district in NYC seeks a Lateral Recruitment Coordinator or Specialist. This position reports to the Chief Strategy Office and Director of Business Operations and will be responsible for coordinating all phases of lateral partner recruiting for the New York, Washington, DC, Charlotte and London offices. This individual will work closely with the Managing Partner, Department Chairs and Chief Operating Officer to achieve the firm's strategic goals with respect to lateral partner hiring. ResponsibilitiesWorks directly with lead partners throughout each candidate's recruitment processBuilds relationships with headhunters, communicates with headhunters regarding firm needs and individual candidatesSchedules virtual and in-person candidate interviews and collects evaluations and feedbackGreets and escorts candidates to in-person interviews, greets candidates during virtual interviews and monitors candidate interviews to ensure process runs smoothlyAssists with the candidate due diligence processMaintains applicant tracking database and electronic candidate filesCoordinates onboarding logistics for lateral partnersProcesses invoicesConducts research and assists with data collectionRequirementsBachelor's Degree2+ years' experience working in a professional office environmentMust be highly organized and detail orientedAbility to juggle multiple responsibilities, take initiative and work independentlyMust be able to build strong relationships internally and externally and have excellent interpersonal skillsMust have outstanding written and verbal communication abilitiesAbility to act in a professional manner and exercise sound judgmentExcellent computer skillsThis position is hybrid: 4 days in office/1 day WFH. Salary 70-85K (Coordinator), 90-120K exempt (Specialist).
