Additionally we are also a direct repair shop for Allstate, Chubb and USAA.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Body Shop General Manager. The role involves overseeing the daily operations of the body shop, managing staff, coordinating work schedules, leading daily production meetings with staff, and ensuring quality repairs, as well as offer excellent customer service.QualificationsMinimum 3 years managing a body shop.Strong leadership and communication skills; team building skillsKnowledge of collision repair processes, understand direct insurance repair relationship, safety standards, and industry regulations, Knowledge of CCC One ManagementMust demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, ability to multitask in a fast paced environment, prioritize work, and handle customer inquiries. Additionally must be detail oriented and very organizedCertification in auto body repair or related field is a plusValid New York drivers licenseResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations, remedy customer complaints promptly, and ensure customer satisfaction metrics are metRecruit, hire, and train parts managers, and estimators to meet profit levelsAttend manager meetings and establish good working relationships with owners, managers, and staff to establish processesForecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.Directs and schedules the work of all techniciansEstablishes and maintains good working relationships with insurance adjusters.Establishes and maintains good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business.Follows up on with all departments to ensure a good daily workflow.Monitors progress and completion of vehicles in the shop, ensuring that proper repair and safety procedures are followed.Maintains high-quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks. Conducts periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.Checks quality of completed work.Handles customer complaints immediately and according to guidelines.Understands, keeps abreast of and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc. Provides necessary training.Ensures that proper safety equipment is available and being used properly.Monitors the maintenance of paint booths, frame straightening equipment, and other large fixed assets to ensure long-term usage and value.Ensures that the work areas and customer waiting area are kept clean.Maintains professional appearance.Other tasks as assigned.CompensationWe offer competative salary based on experiencePerformance based bonusesPaid time off
