The Electrical Safety Manager will be responsible for implementing and managing safety programs specific to electrical work within data center construction projects. This role requires a proactive approach to identify hazards, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and foster a culture of safety among all team members and subcontractors.RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure that all electrical work adheres to industry standards and best practices.Conduct safety training sessions for employees and subcontractors on electrical safety protocols, hazard recognition, and emergency response procedures.Ensure that all personnel are properly trained and certified for electrical work.Perform regular site inspections to monitor compliance with safety practices and regulations.Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions as necessary.Investigate accidents and incidents, determine root causes, and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.Prepare detailed reports for management and regulatory bodies as required.Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to promote safety as a priority on all projects.Facilitate regular safety meetings to discuss concerns, improvements, and updates in safety practices.Maintain accurate records of safety training, inspections, incidents, and safety audits.Prepare and submit reports to management regarding safety performance and initiatives.Stay current with industry regulations and safety standards, including OSHA and NFPA guidelines, ensuring compliance throughout all projects.Liaise with regulatory agencies as necessary.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in safety management; experience in industrial, manufacturing, or data center construction preferred. OSHA 500 certification (Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry) is preferred.Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification preferred.Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations.Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
