Title: Staff AccountantProficiency in Excel is RequiredLocation/DeptIrvine, CA Hybrid- 3 times in the officeSalary Range: $60,00 - $75,000 + Bonus + Benefits + Perks and moreReports To: Manager, Accounting & FinanceAbout The Company:American Healthcare REIT is one of the larger healthcare-focused real estate investment trusts globally with assets totaling approximately $4.2 billion in gross investment value.Job Summary:Responsible for the analysis of accounting transactions, preparation of monthly/quarterly financial package for the Integrated Senior Health campuses and assist in the preparation of quarterly SEC schedules under the limited supervision of Accounting Manager. Perform ad hoc reports and projects as needed in the department.Essential Job Duties:Review, reconcile, map and upload operator financial reports into MRI.Review general ledger activity to ensure accurate classifications.Perform general ledger account reconciliations.Provide variance explanations in clear and concise manner.Responsible for the month-end close process & meeting deadlines.Prepare timely & accurate supporting schedules and analysis.Take part in process review and propose and execute process improvements to increase effectiveness and efficiency.Special projects and some administrative responsibilities as assigned.Effectively communicate with co-workers, managers, and subordinates.Ability to think analytically and conduct research for transactions as needed.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Advance excel skills such as Pivot Table, V Lookup, and SUMIF are a plus.Skills, Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in accounting,2-4 years of previous accounting experience (Experience in Healthcare and Senior Living Environment is a plus)Proficient with PC applications such as MS-Excel and MS-WordExperience with MRI, Yardi accounting systems a plusGreat sense of urgency and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment are a mustMust have excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, exceptional work ethic and all-around team playerMust be detail and deadline orientedJob Type: Full-timePay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid sick timePaid time offRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftExperience:Staff Accountant: 1 year (Required)Ability to Relocate:Irvine, CA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
