Our client in the Westchester County area has an opening for a Payroll Manager. The Payroll Manager will take charge of managing and processing domestic and international payrolls, maintaining and testing the payroll system, and undertaking related general ledger tasks. This role also involves supervising payroll specialists and approving payrolls. This is a Consulting to Full Time opportunity. Hybrid-3 days per week on-site.Responsibilities:• Manage and process payrolls for domestic and international employees on a semi-monthly, bi-weekly, and monthly basis• Conduct audits and reconcile payroll information to ensure accuracy• Supervise, train, and develop staff, manage employee issues, and facilitate problem resolution• Implement system and process improvements in the payroll system• Collaborate with HRIS to ensure effective system integration and HR processes impacting payroll• Administer collective bargaining agreement and ground staff payroll related items as required• Ensure all IRS, State, and Local mandated configurations and system Taxation Profiles comply with Agency requirements• Approve payroll-related invoices, review and approve journal entries• Contribute to all projects impacting payroll• Generate and analyze semi-monthly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll reports for Accounting and HR• Respond to all payroll inquiries received in a timely manner• Collaborate with various business units to resolve issues and provide payroll support and information as needed
