We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. This position requires a candidate with a strong background in HR management, preferably in the professional services industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the HR team and developing strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. This role is ultimately responsible for the continued development and success of our personnel. This is an IN OFFICE opportunity in Newport Beach, CA. The salary is up to $130KThey are responsible for guiding and directing the overall provisions of the department including continuous improvement and implementation of policies, procedures, employee relations, benefit administrations, training programs and staying current with federal and state employment regulations.Essential Duties and Responsibilities which include but are not limited to: Responsible for implementing, enforcing, and administering federal and state employment regulations as well as corporate policies and procedures. Ensure accurate and written job descriptions with clear job accountabilities, reporting structures and career paths. Establish salary guidelines for hiring and performance evaluations for each job within the organization. Provide recruiting and hiring support for California by implementing activities such as internal communication, placement of ads; reviewing resumes, conducting screening interviews, administering tests or evaluations, and reference and background checks. Human Resources support for the Regional Offices.Ensure accurate employee files. Administration of all corporate and employee benefits and services to include health care programs, 401k, life insurance, disability insurance, leave management and benefits. Provide proactive guidance and counseling to managers and employees on employee relations issues. Development and management of workplace safety programs and reporting, as well as other required or suggested trainings (i.e. harassment). Ensure adherence of OSHA rules and regulations. Manages all workers compensation claims and represents the company at workers compensation hearings, as needed. Oversee and manage duties and performance for Payroll Manager, HR Coordinator and Corporate Office Receptionist.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and deemed necessary in the capacity of HR Director.QUALIFICATIONS AND CRITERIA: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty, and assigned tasks, satisfactorily.
