General Maintenance Technician

Our client, a meal delivery service company, is currently growing their team. The Kitchen General Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on all company machinery, equipment, and facilities. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can work independently or as part of a team to ensure company facilities operate efficiently and safely.ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance to keep all machines running smoothlyConduct routine inspections of premises and equipmentTroubleshoot and repair issues related to mechanical equipment, minor electrical systems, and minor plumbing systemsRespond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairsMaintain records of work performed, supplies used, and time spent on tasksWork with management to schedule and oversee third-party repairs as neededEnsure compliance with safety standards and company protocolsQualificationsTraining or certification in maintenance or 3 or more years' experience in the commercial equipment and facility repair field Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems Working knowledge of tools, devices, and common appliances Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCompensationSalary: $46k - $54k401k Employer Match Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off
