About:We are partnered with a publicly traded cybersecurity company seeking an experienced attorney with SaaS and commercial contract experience. You will be a key member of the legal department, working closely with various teams to review, draft, and negotiate contracts and provide general legal support. Qualifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membershipAt least 6 years of relevant legal experience in law firms and/or in-house roles, focusing on SaaS, software, technology, and data licensing agreementsExtensive experience with SaaS agreements is essentialPreferred experience in the cybersecurity sectorAbility to prioritize and manage multiple issues in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skills; capable of understanding complex topics and identifying key issues quicklyHighly detail-oriented, organized, efficient, and resourceful with excellent follow-throughPractical, business-focused approach to problem-solving, providing clear, concise, and commercially sound advice to internal clients within set timelinesExceptional communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skillsResponsibilities:Draft, supervise, and close a wide variety of commercial agreements, including SaaS, licensing, reseller agreements, procurement, confidentiality, and other commercial agreementsProvide legal guidance privacy and security issuesCollaborate with various business owners and legal colleagues to develop process improvements, templates, and operational policies
