Wireless Real Estate SpecialistAlpharetta, Georgia, United StatesNo Corp to Corp or Third Party will be considered The Regulatory Specialist position based in Alpharetta, GA focuses on ensuring the wireless network remains compliant with relevant government regulations. As a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) licensee, the company is responsible for adhering to various laws, and the specialist will be integral in ensuring these compliance obligations are met. The position involves collaborating with submarket teams, preparing and submitting necessary documentation to regulators, and managing large-scale projects that require regulatory oversight.Key Responsibilities:Analyze, interpret, and monitor government regulations.Evaluate network projects for regulatory compliance.Provide guidance on regulatory requirements and manage applications to regulatory bodies.Develop and participate in regulatory training programs.Mitigate compliance risks and manage large-scale initiatives with cross-functional teams.Work closely with vendors, regulatory bodies (FCC, FAA, NEPA, SHPO), and internal teams (HQ, RE, RF) to ensure compliance with all construction and in-service approvals.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree.Three or more years of experience in a related regulatory role.Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.Knowledge of regulatory requirements (FAA, FCC, NEPA, SHPO).Experience in project management and the ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to convey complex concepts simply.RF power calculation and data collection skills.Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree.Knowledge of wireless communications and related engineering concepts.Experience with mapping tools, database management, and various specialized modules (FUZE, RFDS, etc.).Familiarity with Verizon's PO process and infrastructure, especially related to Ericsson equipment.Additional Skills:Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Strong technical knowledge of regulatory procedures and wireless technologies.Proficiency in Excel, including VB macro creation and data manipulation.What You Didn't Know About UsCompetitive salaryHealth, Dental and Vision BenefitsLong-Term growth potential401kWith this position, you will get the opportunity to work with a game changing client and further advance your already valuable experience in the telecom industry!We are Connectors.
