Great opportunity to work with an amazing company!They are looking for an experienced and visionary Director of Human Capital to lead and execute human resources strategies across the United States and assist with the Canadian market to ensure consistency. The ideal candidate will drive workforce planning, talent management, organizational development, and foster a culture of excellence. This role requires strategic leadership, operational expertise, exceptional communication across departments and the ability to align human capital initiatives with business objectives.Key Responsibilities: Strategic Human Capital Planning:Develop and implement HR strategies that support the company's business goals and growth objectives.Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and talent pipeline strategies to ensure the availability of a high-performing workforce.Partner with senior leadership to identify HR needs to support business strategies. Talent Acquisition and ManagementOversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.Develop programs to identify, nurture, and grow leadership capabilities within the organization. Employee Engagement and Culture DevelopmentChampion a positive workplace culture aligned with our client's mission, vision, and values.Design initiatives to enhance employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion. Performance Management and DevelopmentImplement and manage performance evaluation systems that drive accountability and reward high performance.Oversee learning and development programs to ensure continuous employee growth.Oversee annual compensation reviews and performance-based incentives Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures, minimizing legal risks and ensuring alignment with organizational values.Advise the executive team on HR-related risks and mitigation strategies Compensation and Benefits:Evaluate and recommend strategies for optimizing total rewards offerings.Lead the design and management of competitive compensation and benefits programs.Benchmark salary and benefit packages to ensure competitiveness in the labor market.Assist with the administration of compensation and benefits programs, including payroll processing and benefits enrollment. HR Operations and Metrics:Lead and manage the HR department, ensuring team members are aligned with organizational goals, policies and procedures.Lead HR operational functions, including payroll, HRIS, and employee data management.Use HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making and measure program effectiveness.Oversee and ensure the correct set up of employees in the HR systems. Onboarding/Training Program for New EmployeesEnsure each department has a thorough orientation to the Company and how it contributes to the environmental diligence in Commercial Real Estate and how each department/product contributes to the results ERIS produces.Ensure Corporate policies and procedures are reviewed with each employeeEnsure the proper equipment is ordered and delivered and requirements completed for either ADP or Avanti PRIOR to the person's start date.Ensure that a "buddy" system is introduced within the first week of starting. Communication:Serve as a liaison between employees and senior leadership on HR matters. Communicate HR policies, changes, and new initiatives effectivelyQualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field as well as HR certifications (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) required.Experience: 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including strategic HR planning, talent management, and organizational development.Skills and Competencies:Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.Deep knowledge of U.S. labor laws, HR best practices, and industry trends.Proven track record in building high-performing teams and driving cultural transformation.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
