Programmer Analyst

OverviewParticipate in daily SCRUM meetings with developers and other members of the Customer Data Integration (CDI) project; Serve as a data engineer in our Customer Data Integration (CDI) project Develop and unit test lambda functions and Python workbooks in our Databricks instances; Accurately size complex requests, develop system and integration test plans and ensure high-quality implementations through the application of the company's methodologies and procedures; Deliver accurate and timely status updates as determined by manager; Comply with the company's methodology: enforce policies and standards, including internal/external controls; Provide input in developing departmental policies and procedures; and Participate in project planning, facilitate timely issue resolution, identify and track risks and deliverable scopes of projects, and review and approve deliverables prepared by the project team when requested. RequirementsMust have experience with the following in order to complete the above-mentioned tasks: Strong understanding of advanced database querying concepts such as: Writing queries utilizing software languages similar like SQL; Exporting data into Excel/CSV (comma-separated values); Reviewing data for quality and integrity; Translating data into readable, meaningful information for the average end-user, and delivering those results to end-users; and Experience with Databricks and Python/PySpark. QualificationsRequires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics or closely related field, and at least two (2) years of experience as a Data Analyst, Programmer Analyst or related occupation.
