Insight Investment is looking for an Onboarding and Transitions Analyst to join the Asset Transitions and Onboarding team in New York. This is a high-profile role responsible for all operational setup, queue management and maintenance in respect of external counterparties relating to bilateral trading agreements, including repo clearing, OTC clearing, ISDA GMRA, FX and MSFTA's. The team also manages queries and resolves issues as they arise internally, which requires a degree of mental agility to keep the wheels turning. The team is responsible for day-to-day onboarding with banks and other external parties.Role ResponsibilitiesEnsure that all fund launches have proper trading documentation in place at launch.Manage the various queues of work in a coherent way to meet the criteria set down by the Onboarding Prioritisation Group, the priorities of different clients, escalating and managing expectations from the start of the processEffectively manage a high-volume inbox; ensuring all emails are responded to within SLAEnsure that all queries are answered promptly and in fullEnsure that all processes are followed, and trackers are updated accuratelyProvide a central source of knowledge for Trading documentation & respond to client & internal queriesProvide clear and accurate instructions to Northern Trust Collateral teams and monitor their delivery to deadlines and/or escalated issues in a timely mannerWork with the Asset Transitions Team to ensure the trading documentation needs of clients are metLiaise with NT/ FX Admin/Front Office Support regarding operational setup parameters and ensure the progress of complete and accurate set up of trading counterparties across our IT architectureManage external relationships with banks (etc.) in respect of this functionManage internal relationships in InsightEnsure the needs of the Onboarding Prioritisation Group are fully met in terms of information on queues, progress and so onWork closely with line manager to ensure the CDO objectives are metDesign, implement and monitor processes to improve, modernize and digitalize the work this team performs obtaining relevant sign offs from the team managerExperience RequiredTrading documentation experience from asset management or investment bankingAttention to detail and accuracyIn Kind transitions and operational knowledge including fixed income and derivativesTrack record of managing a team of transitionsWorking systematically to meet and maintain standards, adhering to robust controls and proceduresProject management and documentation skills: ability to manage several projects at once, under pressure and ensuring deadlines are metFlexible and methodical approachGood computer literacy in basic applications (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)Ability to prioritize and organize work with minimal supervisionGood analytical skills, capable of thinking logically, using initiative and systematically able to resolve complex operational problems.Proactive, self-supportive and motivated in the development of a strong Risk management culture.Proven ability to manage expectations of multiple stakeholdersPersonal QualitiesA methodical and logical approach to work.Take ownership of solving problems, meeting deadlines and delivering to a high quality.A positive attitude towards change and modernization.Able to calm situations and see positive solutions to problems.Collegiate approach to collaborating with other teams internally.Strong team player and eagerness to support teamAbility to look at the bigger pictureFlexibility and ability to learn quickly on the job.First class interpersonal skills and a proactive approachInsight is committed to being an inclusive employer and encourages applications from all suitably qualified applicants irrespective of background, circumstances, age, disability, gender identity, ethnicity, religion or belief and sexual orientation.Insight Investment is an equal opportunities employer and makes employment decisions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability status, age, or any other status protected by law.
