To see the full job description, please go to PNA MissionThe Phinney Neighborhood Association (PNA) builds, engages, and supports our diverse community through programs, services, and activities that foster connection and civic engagement.Position OverviewPNA seeks a Membership & Outreach Manager to lead membership recruitment, retention, and engagement strategies. This role involves fostering relationships, expanding membership to underrepresented groups, and collaborating across teams to support PNA's mission of equity and inclusion.This is a 30-40 hours/week position with opportunities for occasional remote work.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement strategic membership plans, including recruitment and retention initiatives.Manage membership processes (renewals, welcome letters, membership cards).Plan and execute membership events and engagement activities.Represent membership at community and fundraising events (10-15 annually, including evenings/weekends).Collaborate on communications to promote membership via website, social media, and newsletters.Maintain and manage the membership database and oversee data entry volunteers.Monitor and track membership budgets and generate reports.Support broader PNA fundraising and events as part of the Development team.Qualifications2+ years' experience in customer service, hospitality, or membership management (nonprofit preferred).Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for community building.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Familiarity with donor databases (Salesforce preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.Experience with volunteers and budget management a plus.Willingness to work occasional evenings/weekends and in an open office environment.Compensation & Benefits$25-$28/hourHealth insurance, 401(k) with employer match, flexible spending account, and more.Generous paid time off: 5.5 weeks/year (including holidays and PTO).Free PNA household membership and reduced costs for classes and rentals.About the PNAPNA serves over 27,000 people annually, offering programs such as preschools, a senior center, meal programs, tool lending library, and community events.
