Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Media Relations Manager at Strauss Media Strategies, Inc. We are specifically seeking candidates either extensive experience working within a broadcast newsroom or demonstrable success in placing guests on broadcast outlets. Extra credit will be given for experience working with podcast producers and outlet with national reach. You will be tasked with working with a very diverse set of clients to help understand their communication goals and to counsel them on an appropriate broadcast outreach strategy. Additionally, you will be asked to work directly with members of the media to deliver on this strategy. Projects can be long-lead or require quick turn-around, so the ability to work with grace under pressure is admirable. QualificationsExperience in broadcast media relations or a broadcast newsroomPress Releases, Media Relations, and Strategic Communications skillsA general understanding of Public Relations and the Broadcast News IndustryDemonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive communication strategiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong network of media contacts and relationshipsBachelor's Degree PleaseProvide a cover letter.
