Our client plays a critical role in global supply chains, innovating and delivering essential products in a wide variety of end markets and applications such as building and construction, fertilizers, plastics, solvents, packaging, paints, coatings, adhesives, and electronics.Location: Philadelphia, PAThe Maintenance Reliability Engineer works closely with field Maintenance Engineers, Project Engineers, operating area personnel, and all levels of the Maintenance organization to ensure the safe and profitable operation.Responsibilities:Provide analysis of failed equipment to determine and eliminate causeDevelop and implement Reliability Control PlansAdvise on proper execution and documentation of repair and preventive maintenance (PM) activities for fixed equipmentIdentify and interface with preferred equipment manufacturers, specialists, and technical support consultantsDraft maintenance job plans for specific repair activitiesMaintain and update maintenance documentation (e.g. repair reports, bill of materials, upgrade recommendations) for critical plant equipmentPrepare formal technical reports to document repair actions, failure analyses, equipment, and process improvements and inspection findingsGather, interpret, report, and manage plant reliability metricsSupport equipment installations/upgrades by ensuring design-for-maintainability and reliability are incorporated into projectsDevelop and maintain job plans for specific repair activitiesIdeally Fixed equipment but opne to looking at rotating equipment too.Qualifications:BS in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldSix Sigma Green Belt certified preferred5-10+ years of experience in chemical/petrochemical plant maintenance and/or reliability engineering experienceNice to have: Experience with SAP work management system and drafting/design softwareNice to have: Experience in union environment
