About the Company:Seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety Engineer to join our client's team. This role involves the development, implementation, and enforcement of comprehensive safety programs to ensure a secure working environment. The ideal candidate will be adept in interpreting safety regulations and fostering a culture of safety-first among employees.About the Role:Develop and implement safety programs, policies, and procedures tailored to regulatory compliance. Interpret and apply federal, state, and local safety regulations to ensure full compliance. Provide expert advice and audits to line management for effective implementation of EHS initiatives. Conduct training sessions including employee orientation and emergency response protocols, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards. Advise on equipment design and ergonomics to enhance workplace safety. Manage and evaluate the Safety Management System, tracking progress and outcomes. Maintain documentation related to permits, safety equipment, and regulatory requirements. Ensure contractor compliance with safety policies when working on-site. Prepare and present reports on the status of health and safety programs to management. Lead investigations into accidents and injuries, compiling reports for regulatory bodies. Recommend and implement corrective and preventive measures. Lead emergency response initiatives, aligning with company policies and procedures. Promote a culture of safety and develop internal safety advocates. Minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
