Job Title : ADS/ADAS TechnicianDuration : 12 months contract(possibility of extension)Location : 1555 Woodridge,Ann Arbor, MI 48105Pay : $25-28.5/hr on w2 basis without benefits.Note: DO NOT allow sub vendors/Corp to Corp in any circumstances due to certain compliance issue.Job Description:Who we're looking for:Automated Technician Group (ATG) is looking for a passionate and highly motivated ADS (Automated Driving System) & ADAS (Advanced Driver Assist System) Technician.The primary responsibility of this role is to is to support ADS & ADAS evaluation activities conducted by ATG. Secondary responsibility of this role is to support maintaining ATG's facility and vehicle fleet.Reporting to the ATG Technician Manager, the person in this role will support the IVS department's objective to ensure vehicle performance ADS / ADAS related systems.What you'll be doing:Supporting the maintenance, functionality, and safety of ATG test vehicles and facilitiesRetrofit and maintain functionality of ADS / ADAS sensors, data acquisition systems and other equipmentSupport execution of public road ADAS / ADS evaluationsSupport execution of closed course ADAS / ADS evaluationsQualifications/ What you bring (Must Haves):What you bring (Must)Associates in Technical Field, and/or BS in Automotive, Electronics, Technology or equivalent technical experienceVehicle track/public road evaluation hands on work experience (1 yr or moreAbility to use data acquisition equipmentAbility to provide vehicle troubleshooting support via phone or video conferenceHighly organized in documenting/communicating data issues accurately, including technical writing and reporting abilityExperience in updating vehicle systems software and confirming functionalityExperience interpreting electrical systems drawings, specifications, manuals, wire diagrams, and standardsOBD (On Board Diagnostic) and CAN (Controller Area Network) tool use, experience, and understanding to troubleshoot system issuesSkilled in the use of hand and shop tools to build test fixtures, disassemble and assemble vehiclesClean driving record Added bonus if you haveWhat you may bring (Wants - Not required)ADS/ADAS hands on work experience (2 yr or moreAbility to use the following ABD productsGuided Soft Target (GST)SR/CBAR Robot test systemsVehicle dynamics evaluation experienceASE certificationExperience writing small software scripts to automate evaluationsThank you!
