Quality Manager

Quality Manager will be responsible for assuring quality products are produced and distributed through the control of raw materials, production processes and sub-suppliers.Quality Manager Responsibilities:Process improvement leader for activities and measurement.Advanced Product Quality Planning leader.Process and product capability, identify and actively support activities to improve key process performance indicators.Customer and supplier contact on corrective actions and improvements.Directs SPC and quality efforts.Supports marketing and sales in customer product problem solving and projects.Provides problem solving expertise and 6-sigma project support.Ensures that quality system requirements are established, implemented and maintained in accordance with ISO 9001Manages internal quality audit program. Initiates plant internal/external quality, environmental and safety audits.Manage and monitor required testing, including training the hourly workforce for product testing and inspection.Quality Manager Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline, preferably in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical.7-10 years of experience in Quality within a manufacturing organization.Significant knowledge of ISO 9001 compliant quality systems, automotive quality requirements, lean tools and Six Sigma (ASQ CQE or Six Sigma Blackbelt is a plus).Working knowledge of phenolic chemistry is a plus.Working knowledge of technical competencies in the processed of vacuum forming, rheology, drying, knowledge of fuels.Experience using Minitab and Access are beneficial.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent problem-solving ability.
