Head of Customer Service

MK Recruit is seeking an experienced and proactive Head of Customer Service to join our client, a leading manufacturer with a large facility based in Delaware.This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead and enhance the customer service function, ensuring exceptional service delivery and supporting key business objectives.What's on Offer?Competitive Salary (DOE) with generous benefits package including; Opportunity to lead a dynamic and collaborative customer service team.Engagement with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service and continuous improvement initiatives.RequirementsProven experience in a senior level Customer Service role, ideally within the industrial manufacturing industry, with experience collaborating with internal and external customers.Passionate, determined and willing to go the extra mile with strong influential ability and strong attention to detail. SAP user with experience utilising SAP for order processing, invoicing, and customer data management. Must also be a confident MS Excel user. Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of the customer service function, ensuring customer needs are met or exceeded.Manage the end-to-end order processing lifecycle, ensuring OTIF (on-time and in-full) delivery.Collaborate with sales, operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless service delivery.Maintain customer master data, pricing, and accurate records in SAP and other systems.Manage the invoicing process and ensure sampling requests and shipments are fulfilled efficiently.Lead the investigation and resolution of customer complaints and drive corrective actions.Compile and maintain documentation to comply with legal, compliance, and customs requirements for international shipping.Lead and develop the customer service team, ensuring a professional environment and effective performance management.How to ApplyIf you are a motivated and solution-driven Head of Customer Service level candidate who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, we would love to hear from you.
