President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO)Position SummaryThe President and CEO serve as the chief leader and strategist for the Company, reporting directly to the Board of Directors. This role oversees all aspects of operations, drives strategic initiatives, identifies growth opportunities, and ensures the organization's financial stability and operational excellence.QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (CPA designation strongly preferred).ExperienceAt least 10 years of experience in business operations, including leadership roles. Expertise in strategic planning, marketing, finance, risk management, human resources, and business operations is highly desirable.SkillsStrong organizational, communication (oral/written), and interpersonal abilities, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite at an intermediate level or higher is required.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning & ExecutionImplement and drive long-term strategies as outlined by the Board.Set and achieve market share, brand positioning, and profitability goals.Identify emerging market trends and capitalize on growth opportunities.Lead digital transformation and technological innovation initiatives.Operational ManagementOversee core business functions, including marketing, sales, manufacturing, distribution, finance, HR, and IT.Ensure operational efficiency and continuous improvement across all departments.Monitor and enhance performance metrics across the organization.Financial LeadershipDirect financial planning, budgeting, and reporting activities.Manage investments and capital allocation decisions to optimize returns.Ensure strong financial controls and regulatory compliance.Collaborate closely with the Board on all critical financial matters.Sales & Marketing OversightDevelop and guide strategies across retail, independent, and e-commerce channels.Oversee stakeholder relationships, including key accounts and external partners.Drive product development and brand positioning initiatives.Leadership DevelopmentLead and mentor the executive team with support from the Board.Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous growth.Oversee talent acquisition, development, and retention efforts.Guide the transition from family-centric to professional management structures.Governance & Stakeholder RelationsAct as the primary liaison between family owners, the Board of Directors, and the management team.Represent the Company to external stakeholders and ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards.Managerial ScopeDirectly oversee 6-8 senior leaders, including financial and marketing executives, who may have dual reporting lines to the Board.Ensure alignment and collaboration across teams and departments.External ContactsBoard of Directors, customers, manufacturer representatives, vendors, consultants, and other professional service providers.Decision-Making AuthorityCollaborate with the Board to define mission, vision, and long-term goals.Approve key investments, contracts, and supplier relationships.Oversee the hiring and termination of senior managers and other critical roles.Allocate financial resources across departments and projects.Potential Consequences of ErrorsMissed growth opportunities, financial losses, loss of key talent, production inefficiencies, legal risks, and diminished competitive advantage.
