You will also have access to our comprehensive benefits and competitive pay in addition to growth opportunities and excellent retirement options.Job Description:Provide support to the INSCOM C2IO program, installs, troubleshoots, repairs and maintain hardware equipment and install user end device hardware integration across the enterprise departments. Provides reports, completes requests for new service, determines methodology for installing PC's/LAN connectivity, telephone service, determines appropriateness of moderate equipment changes or modifications, call switches, test trunks, test links and installs communication circuits.Responsibilities:Configures / installs new hardware lifcycles existing user systems technical expertise to the customerIntegrates equipment throughout the networkMaintain technology/telecommunication equipment and installs, rearranges and removes equipment and associated wiring; Interpret service orders, circuit diagrams, and electrical schematics.Loads approved OS images on new systems or existing systems requiring updates or repairConducts life-cycle site surveys, planning, and design for small projectsConducts quality control to verify conformance to industry and government standardsAssists is developing a list of materials and estimates installation timelinesWorks with other IT Support, Network Engineers, and Server AdministratorsManages assigned tasks based upon severity, workflow, and time constraintsProvides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced technicians.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED equivalentActive TS/SCI clearance (listed in DISS)1 or more years of related experienceBasic knowledge of desktops, laptops, printers, basic components, and accessoriesUnderstanding of IT infrastructure technologies, design, concepts, and theoryAbility to kneel, squat, bend over, reach into tight spaces to complete work, and lift 45 poundsAbility to work on projects with little or no supervisonDesired Qualifications:DOD-8570 IAT II certification (Sec+ CE, etc)Knowledge of fiber and copper infrastructureKnowledge of Network Boot (PXE) environment and imaging of PCsKnowledge of MS Active Directory and adding PCs to an enterprise domainKnowledge of ITSM and Helpdesk OperationsKnowledge of ticketing systems (Microsoft System Center Service Manager (SCSM), ServiceNow)Experience working with military, DoD civilians, or government contractors, plus if INSCOM.
