With our network of more than 80 manufacturing facilities and more than 4,000 employees, we're leading the industry with innovation and a safety-first mindset.Job SummaryThe Maintenance & Repair Mechanic will be responsible for assisting in preventive maintenance, repair, and installation of manufacturing equipment.Job ResponsibilitiesRemoves and installs machine components to ensure the safe and efficient operation of production equipmentTroubleshoots systems to determine causes of machine failure and recommends solutions for repairCollaborates closely with Process Technicians and Operators to understand the nature of machine failures or component fabrication needsDesigns, fabricates, and welds machine components or fixtures to ensure the proper functionality of facility equipmentRecords the details of machine malfunctions and the appropriate adjustments as requiredConducts test runs of machine adjustments to ensure safe operation and production within quality standardsPerforms routine analyses and calculations, and recommends changes in equipment, products or test methodsMaintains the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of maintenance equipment, tools, and work areasRepairs building and grounds equipment, fixtures and tools as necessary to ensure the safety of all employeesPerforms preventative maintenance and inspections on facility equipment as scheduledRecommends changes to the preventative maintenance schedule based on knowledge of equipment issues and required fixesOther duties may be assigned as neededJob RequirementsHigh school diploma / equivalentMust have at least 5 years related experience in a fast-paced industrial setting; experience as a multi-skilled technician in an extrusion or injection molding setting is a plusAbility to work overtime and weekends, as neededMust have the ability to attend off-site training, as offeredMust be a self-starter and have the ability to work relatively unsupervisedKnowledge of power toolsMust have attention to detail and the ability to multi-taskFamiliarity with OSHA regulationsAbility to read/write simple instructions, short correspondence, and memosStrong electric and hydraulic skillsWorking knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and mechanical power transmission systemsAbility to read hydraulic and electrical prints as well as mechanical drawingsAbility to lift up to 40 lbs.What CRH Offers YouHighly competitive base payComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programsGroup retirement savings programHealth and wellness programsA diverse and inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion About CRHCRH has a long and proud heritage.
