Network Engineer

Network Engineer - Server & StorageWe are partnered with a globally respected Law Firm who are seeking an experienced Network Engineer based in the Washington, DC area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and intermittently improving our clients' current global network configuration and infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional IT teams and security groups to ensure the server and storage portfolio are secure, scalable, and performing optimally.ResponsibilitiesManage the lifecycle of server storage and solutions to ensure a stable, secure, and scalable infrastructureDesign and maintain on-premises cloud based systems, including virtualization data centersProvide technical support and troubleshoot issuesMonitor network performance and make recommendations based on performance analysisQualifications5+ years of experience in infrastructure management, preferably in a professional services or legal environmentProficiency with cloud computing (e.g., Azure), virtualization (e.g., VMware, Citrix), scripting (e.g., PowerShell), and backup solutions (e.g., Commvault)Strong experience with network security tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and security incident management toolsThis position will require hybrid-onsite time in Washington, D.C.If interested in connecting to discuss the full position details, please apply today.
