.Net Software Engineer Columbus, OhioContract to HireThe Software Engineer will be joining an agile technology team and is focused on building and operating various domains such as digital channels and call centers for clients and consumers. The role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining APIs that connect critical systems and ensure smooth operations across the ecosystem. They actively participate in project and team planning meetings and collaborates with business and other IT teams.Required Skills:Proficiency in C# and .NET frameworksExperience with Docker or other containerization technologiesFamiliarity of cloud-based platforms and container services (AWS/GCP/Azure) Familiarity with CI/CD tools, preferably Azure DevOps Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skillsWorking knowledge of SQL and databases Experience in web development and responsive design Familiarity of Vue.JS/Knockout/Bootstrap or equivalent frameworks Experience with Agile/Scrum practices and has worked within a product team Working knowledge of SQL and databases Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs using C# and .NET frameworks. Reads specifications and writes code and unit tests using patterns and languages approved by Technical Lead and Architect; adhere to best practices and end-user requirements Collaborates with Product Owner, UX, analysts, QA, and other software engineers to make changes to an application for defect fixes, enhancements, and new features; demonstrates business knowledge by actively participating and providing relevant suggestions and insight.
