Estimator

Position Summary:As an Estimator at Timberline, you will contribute to a variety of assignments ranging from large scale corporate interiors, to high-tech laboratory renovations, to ground-up institutional facilities. The position requires an individual who is comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Prepare cost estimates for bids and negotiated proposalsManage all aspects and take lead on all aspects of an estimateWork with client and construction team during preconstruction phase effortsInvestigate value engineering and cost saving opportunitiesDuring competitive bidding, explore scope for opportunities to differentiate Timberline's approach from competitorsInspire, educate and coach junior estimators and interns to deliver superior client service and profitablyDevelop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendorsMinimum/Preferred Requirements Education: Bachelor's degreeExperience: Minimum of 5 yearsKnowledge/Skills:Ability to develop accurate conceptual cost models, understand construction methods, productivity, equipment, systems and materialsIntermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and WordWhat you'll love about us: Health BenefitsWe are preparing for your future - 401K Investing in you Mentorship program
