ResponsibilitiesJob DescriptionManage and oversee the daily operations of the personal lines insurance departmentSupervise and support a team of insurance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and training as neededDevelop and implement strategic plans to achieve departmental goals and objectivesEnsure that policies and procedures are followed to meet regulatory requirements and deliver quality service to clientsCollaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance overall operational efficiencyMonitor departmental performance metrics and take proactive measures to address any issues or gapsAct as a liaison between staff and upper management, communicating departmental updates, challenges, and successesQualificationsProven experience in a department manager or supervisory role within the insurance industryIn-depth knowledge of personal lines insurance, with a focus on high net worth clientsStrong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staffExcellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilitiesAnalytical mindset with problem-solving skills and attention to detailFamiliarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the insurance fieldBachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (preferred)Day-to-dayLeading and guiding the personal lines insurance teamMonitoring departmental workflow and addressing any operational issuesCollaborating with other departments to optimize processesCommunicating with staff and upper management to ensure alignment and transparencyAnalyzing performance data and making strategies for improvement
