We are seeking a hands-on and mission-driven part-time Senior Facilities Operations Specialist to join our client's team at the headquarters located in Atlanta, Georgia.Salary/Hourly Rate$26/hr - $30/hr (Based on experience and qualifications)Position OverviewThis is a non-exempt, hourly position responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of the office space. The Senior Facilities Operations Specialist will ensure the safety and comfort of staff and visitors, manage vendor relations, and maintain the overall upkeep of the physical environment. They will develop recommendations for repair, maintenance, and improvements to the physical office space and report them to the HR Director.Responsibilities Of The Senior Facilities Operations Specialist Address urgent maintenance needs and oversee systems such as HVAC, lighting, security, building access, and pest control. Maintain office resources including equipment, furniture, and supplies. Track facilities-related expenditures and submit expenditure requests for invoices. Maintain cleanliness and organization in communal areas such as kitchens, meeting spaces, and reception areas. Serve as the main point of contact for vendors related to repairs, cleaning, and maintenance. Assist with agency events by transporting supplies and moving furniture as needed. Prepare and maintain operations documents, reports, and schedules. Procure and manage vendor contracts and negotiate for cost-saving opportunities. Maintain organization of off-site storage units and assist with inventory management.Qualifications For The Senior Facilities Operations Specialist At least 2+ years of experience supporting an organization in operations, facilities, or administrative roles. Previous office manager experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel. Ability to manage a variety of responsibilities independently and proactively. Ability to lift and move packages or equipment up to 50 lbs. when needed. Spanish-speaking is a plus but not required.Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required.Benefits Access to supplementary insurance benefits.
