AboutAn innovation leader in facilities services and building engineering solutions is looking for a Building Management System Field Supervisor to coordinate the BMS projects for commercial buildings, and mission-critical facilities in the Manhattan area. The ideal candidate has experience with Building Management Systems and EPMS in mission-critical and commercial facilities.Job TypeLocation: Manhattan, NYCompensation and BenefitsCompetitive pay (based on experience)401K with matchingPaid Time OffHealth, dental, and vision insuranceFSAEmployee Stock Purchase PlanTuition ReimbursementLife and Disability InsuranceDuties and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and manage installations, troubleshooting, inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs on BMS and automation systemsProvide input, data, improvements, efficiencies, and risk analysis for short and long-term client development.Oversee software programming, initialize equipment, fine-tune and calibrate, the commissioning of Building Automation Systems (BAS).Collaborate with the Project Manager on scope adjustments, priorities, and timelines, ensuring the work adheres to the approved scope and contractual documents.Supervise and prioritize subcontractor work, authorize additional tasks, and ensure timely completion to meet project deadlines.Maintain accurate project documentation, assist in evaluating and training junior technicians, and stay updated on industry changes and job skills.Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.Qualifications and SkillsExperience with Honeywell, Triduum Niagara, Siemens, Schneider, and Jhonson controls.+5 years of experience with HVAC controls, DDC Systems commissioning, software integration operation, calibration, and experience with pneumatic controls.Experience with Automated Logic commissioning tools and field circuit debugging skills.+5 years of experience with Building Management Systems, Control Systems, integration, and EPMS in mission-critical and commercial facilities.Experience with: VAVs, Exhaust Fans, Unit Vents, AHUs, Hot Water Systems, Chiller Water Systems, and Lighting.
