We work with established clients in the aerospace, biotech, science and technology and university markets requiring innovative design solutions for research, testing, manufacturing and production facilities.Gordon Prill, Inc. is seeking a talented Lead Architect with the experience and skills to develop designs for complex industrial and technology projects from inception through construction documents. This person will be an essential member of a team of in-house professionals including architects, designers, mechanical and electrical engineers and construction managers. Salary will be commensurate with educational background and project experience.Requirements:Licensed Architect in California15 years minimum Architectural Design or Project Management experienceExperience with Labs, Clean Rooms and Industrial projectsAbility to own a project from start to finish with ability to oversee the execution of the team and consultants through the design development process.Strong skills using Autodesk RevitStrong skills using AutoCADKnowledge of current Title 24, CBC and local Building and Fire Codes is essentialExperience with local planning and building department approval processes including zoning approvals, entitlements, and building permits. (DSA and HCAI experience are a plus)Effective and strong presentation skillsComfortable representing the company as project contact with client management and end-usersClear written and verbal communication skills to direct a team of architects, engineers, and consultants to create comprehensive drawings and reports that meet client's expectations and schedulesStrong teamwork skills to facilitate collaboration, creativity and professional development with others.Education: BA or BArch or Masters in Architecture from an accredited universityLEED accreditation desirable, but not requiredBENEFITS:Gordon Prill has a friendly work environment and can offer a challenging and rewarding career.
